BIG 18

The other day I must have felt like a challenge or something because I decided that I wanted to make a Unisex card. I wasn’t too sure where I was going with it, but I knew I wanted to use 2wenty Thr3e (yep, still banging on about it!).

I keep all of my chipboard and stickers in a large A4 box so when I was rifling through it to get the 2wenty Thr3e stacked stickers out of the box, I came across these large Woodware chipboard numbers which I’ve had for well over a year. I bought them online and was a little, appalled surprised initially at how big they were. Perfect for scrapbooking but not for card making – or so I thought. What do you think?

Here’s the card

I think they work really well on my 4 x 5 1/4 card.

I have used three of the papers from the 2wenty Three mini deck. I pretty much love any colour with grey at the moment which is probably why I’ve used this collection so much.

I swapped the top of the stacked sticker with the pointy finger because I thought it would be a cute addition to have it pointing at the oversized numbers. I think I could get away with this for an 18th birthday card, probably not so much for a 40th birthday.

I also applied some pewter liquid pearls at random around the card, corner chomped one end and added some faux stitching.
