The other week I was contacted by the lovely folks at Bags of Love to choose one of their products and write a review when I received it.

Well I had a good old nosey at their website and finally settled on a Journal. I prefer journals to diaries because, and I know this is weird, I find the rigid format of writing a certain amount each day to be limiting. Journals give you the freedom to write as much or as little as you want, whenever you want.

My journal arrived today and I’m chuffed to bits with it. I’ve ordered customised items before from other websites and found that I was 99% happy, but the photo didn’t turn out how I wanted or the material wasn’t quite as high quality as I’d hoped but not this one.

I was expecting the cover to be hard backed cardboard with the glossy photo printed on the front but the photo is printed onto what seems like fabric! It’s beautiful to touch and almost a shame to put my scribbles in it but I will definitely be using it.

Inside the journal  are rich cream, good weight pages. and the same photo is also printed on the back, although I think you can choose a different photo for the back, as well as a title etc. Hubby wants one for Christmas now. Although he’ll probably have a photo of a darts board or something on his!

I know reviews are supposed to find fault etc as well as being full of praise but I honestly can’t fault the quality and all round service.
