This past Tuesday i turned 34! Monday night I had terrible Birthday Blues for the first time ever! I don’t know what was wrong with me, and DH was wringing his hands in despair as my mood plummeted – bless him! Aside from the fact that I then went on to have a bit of a stressful, busy day at work, my Birthday evening was lovely. It’s nice to have a bit of a fuss made over you every now and then
It’s also another birthday today! Charisma Cardz turns 4 years old! Massive Congratulations (and Kudos) to Carlyann for keeping the challenge blog going for so long! Long may it continue.
I have a bit of a geeky love of robots. I instagrammed this robot the other day when I was making this card. It’s by Birdie Brown and I’ve coloured him with Spectrum Noir pens. The bright and bold papers are by Cosmo Cricket from their Social club line and I’ve added some real and faux stitching to the card and corner chomped the corners so it’s nicely rounded.
A bit of doodling around the edges of the die cut image and that’s pretty much it!
Every month I pick up a few paper packs. Some old, some new but all pretty. Here are my choices for July
Basic Grey Shine On
Crate Paper Story Teller
Simple Stories Awesome
Simple Stories Fabulous
Webster’s Pages In Love/Palm Beach/Game On Combo Pack
Cosmo Cricket Time for Tea
A few there but I don’t smoke or drink so paper is my indulgence
Hello peeps, new challenge and release day at the Jellypark Friends Friday Challenge this week. I’m on the new release team and there are two fabulous newbies to the Jellypark store this week.
Here’s my card featuring the incredibly cute Bunny Rabbit Dancing.
Most of the card is taken up with the sentiment which is actually a scrapbook title by My Mind’s Eye (had to get some glitter on this somewhere, even though its a boy card! hehe).
I’ve coloured the stamp with ProMarkers and very lightly with Derwent Coloursoft pencils..
The corrugated tag is by Kaisercraft and the papers are Bazzill and MME.
Pop over to the challenge blog to see what the other new release is and how the other DT girls have used it!
The new challenge also goes live today, and the theme is “Let’s Go Fly a Kite”
