Playing Dress Up

The theme this fortnight at the Jellypark Friends Friday Challenge is “Dressing Up”. Claire has come up trumps with the two new images which are newly released in the store today. I couldn’t resist the “Boy in the Halloween Pumpkin Costume” digi stamp which I’ve used on this card.

Is he cute or what? Now there’s no point in dressing up if you’re not going to go all out so I coloured his face Oompa Loompa stylee in orange. I then blobbed on some Glossy Accents and coloured the Pumpkin’s “face” with a black Sakura Stardust Gel pen.

The papers are digi papers from the Trick or Treats paper pack by Echo Park and I added some faux stitching around the centre panel.

But wait! I still have my challenge inspiration card to share, and it stars another uber cute image of Claire’s which is boy dressed up as a dinosaur  cute! You can find him (Dinosaur Boy)  here in the Jellypark Store

Again,  I’ve used digi papers on this card. This time from the Dino Brights paper pack by Lilly Bimble. I paper pieced the stamp and coloured the teeth and spikes (OK mental block, can’t remember what they’re called! lol!) with prismacolor pencils.

I haven’t used torn paper on a card in ages so decided to use it on this card for a rough and ready, little boy style. The button is by Woodware and I’ve used some dark green embroidery floss instead of ribbon. I had to use some glitter though! I highlighted the tears in the paper with green glitter. The green stars are from stash, they’re actually beads but I didn’t realise until I’d assembled the card so I just adhered them with glossy accents.

I’d like to enter this card into the following challenge.
