Festive Flakes Tags

If you’re following me on Twitter, then you’ll have seen these tags last night but if you’re not, then here they are!

I made these two tags with the Sarah Paris Style Festive Flakes set which is part of the Cover CD for this month’s issue of Complete Card Making. I made a few cards for the feature but Sally’s designs also lend themselves so easily to gift tags, especially circular ones like these.

These tags were very quick and easy to make and would be very easy to make a bunch to adorn your gifts this year.

I printed out the snowflake clip art at 6.5cm, trimmed it out at 2.25 inches with the Martha Stewarts Craft Cutter, printed off the two papers I wanted to use and then trimmed out two circles at 2 3/4 inches and then just layered the two on a 3 inch circle of white cardstock.

A button, some twine and a bow, and that’s the tag done!

Easy peasey!

If you don’t have the Circle cutter then adjust your sizes to what you do have, or make them square!

Leave me a message if you’ve had a go at making them! I’d love to see :)

On the Cover of a Magazine!

Well two of my cards are anyway :)

A little while back, Sally, the designer behind Sarah Paris Style asked me if I would be interested in making some cards for a feature in Complete Cardmaking Magazine using her Festive Flakes papers, clip arts and digi siamps which are on the cover freebie CD for this issue’s magazine.

Needless to say, I said yes!

Well the magazine is now out, and while I can’t show you all of the cards on my blog, here is a peek at the cover of the magazine.

And two of my cards are on the cover, just under where it says “touch of frost”! I am beyond chuffed with how the feature turned out and I hope that Sally gets lots of visitors to her site  because she has some gorgeous stuff on there!
