And that word is cute!

I had to pleasure of using a Saturated Canary digi stamp in the last Charisma Card challenge and had a look in the Saturated Canary Etsy store the other day and saw Fizzy Jynx. She reminded of my niece, pure cheekiness and unruly, but totally fabulous hair. So I’ve made a card for my niece to enter into the Saturated Canary Challenge  which is a recipe challenge this time around.

The recipe is 1 image, 2 patterned papers and 3 embellishments.

My 1,2, 3 are: Fizzy Jynx, Patterned papers from the Uncommon paper pack by Authentique and 3 embellishments are gems, ribbon and the doodlebug letter stickers.

When it comes to colouring, my style is the messier the better and I can totally get away with it with this image. I’ve used my prismacolor pencils for this. When I say messy, I mean that I don’t blend to perfection. The boots, in my head, are woolly so I’ve left them looking textured. Same with the jacket. Her hair is spirals of black and two browns for highlights so no blending there either I think the only properly blended parts are her dress and skin.

I’ve chalked up the edges with Dovecraft chalks and the ribbon was white until I attacked it with a Magenta Promarker

So that’s my entry. I hope you find her as cute as I do!
