New Baby

Jellypark Friends Friday Challenge is back after a brief hiatus with a brand new challenge. This week we’d like to see bunny rabbits on your creations! Click here to see what the Challenge girls have come up with this week!

I’m showcasing the new release on my project this week. Using the new baby set which you can find in the Jellypark store today.

I have altered a luggage tag (I know, I know but I did say that I have a lot of them to get through!) and used some of the gorgeous Mellissa Frances papers again. I’ve gone for a Shabby Chic look because the papers remind me of the queen of Shabby Chic, Cath Kidston

I printed the stamp directly onto the patterned paper, distressed the edges, added distress stickles and some bling and flowers. I love how this turned out.

Shabby Chic at Charisma Cardz

It’s new challenge day for Team Carlyann at Charisma Cardz this week and the theme is Shabby Chic.

We are sponsored by Joanna Sheen and Bunny Zoe’s Crafts.

I don’t know if you remember a little sneak peek of a project I was working on a few weeks ago on Instagram and Twitter? Well here’s a reminder

Well here is the finished, unfiltered,  version

Lisa Shabby Chic tag

I used scraps from a Melissa Frances paper pack and roughed them up a bit with some pink chalk ink. I used my paper pricker to create some holes which I then sewed through with pink embroidery floss.

I painted over the tag (except the circle and sentiment) with Glamour Dust paint in Ice Crystal so the whole thing glistens gorgeously

New Challenge Day at PCJ

New challenge, new blog!

The challenge this week is to use 3 or more patterned papers and we are sponsored by Robyn’s Fetish.

Here’s my card

Lisa-S.-3-or-More-DPs

I’ve used 4 patterned papers on this card, the papers are all by Melissa Frances and I’ve trimmed them out patchwork style, in small squares.

The image is by LOTV and is called Messy Messages but I just thought the bunny was really sweet.

I’ve added some organza ribbon with a WOC rose in the centre and applied Liquid Pearls around the image panel.
