Paper Pack Stalking

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get a glimpse of a paper pack on a manufacturer’s website and I know that I have to have it. That’s what happened when I first saw Little Black Dress from Basic Grey. I’ve been stalking it for about a month and I now have my little paper loving hands on it!

Needless to it totally hasn’t disappointed me. Now. I’ll be honest. Sometimes I get a paper pack and some of the papers are just so not my thing! I won’t go as far as to say they’re ugly but I just know that I’m never gonna use them. Not Little Black Dress though! I can see myself using up every last little scrap.

I made a card today with said paper pack and another of my favourites at the moment, the mini Diva digi set from Pink Petticoat – they’re almost made for each other!

Here it is.

Lil Black Dress-Pink Petticoat

I used three papers from the LBD stack, two plains and the leopard print and some paper lace from the Paper Cellar (49p – bargain!). The sentiment is also by Pink Petticoat,

I coloured the handbag with prismacolor pencils. No fancy shading because, let’s be honest, the print is so eye catching, no one’s going to notice. I used some gold gems for the strap and glossy accents on the flower. Oh, and I also inked up all of the edges with cocoa brown Memento Ink (because there was a tiny white gap – ssssssh!!).

The first of many cards featuring this gorgeous paper pack methinks!
