Fairy Belle

Each month, I try and get a few new paper packs to work through that month. This month, I bought Prima Fairy Belle (gorgeous) as well as some others which you’ll see throughout April.

I wanted to make a fairy card to go with the papers and just had to colour the Fairy Mum and Girl digi stamp by Jellypark cos it’s so lovely and such a sweet image.

Here’s my card

Love those papers! So pretty!

I coloured the fairies’ skin and hair with COPICS! Yep, that’s right! Copics. I took the plunge and bought the skin tones set just to see if my opinion of them has changed. Now I’m totally new as using these so it took me quite a while to get to a place where I was happy with how they looked, particularly with the hair but I’m happy with them. Obviously, it’s going to take more practice!

The Best Laid Plans…

and all that! Today I had every intention of crafting my day away but then I started reading a book… and the rest was history! So instead of sharing something which I made today, I’m going to share a card which I made last week. It is along similar lines to the card in this post

Here it is:

I’ve used the same layout and sentiment but with different papers. And it’s not as heavily distressed as the card I linked to earlier. But I do love this digi stamp called Zola by Mo Manning!

The papers are by Prima Marketing from the GORGEOUS Almanac paper pack, as are the butterlies which I fussy cut from one of the papers in the same pack. Also used is some Tea Dye distress ink.

No challenges for this card cos it’d be cheating lol but I just wanted to get something on my blog!

Until tomorrow where I’ll be sharing a first!
