Happy Birthday…

I have a birthday card to share with you today. I seem to be on a bit of a Birdie Brown tip at the mo! I’ve used her Happy Mail digi stamp on this card.

Isn’t that bear a cutie?!

The papers on the card are all Simple Stories . The sentiment is a rub-on from Pebbles and the twine in from Queen & Co. (I love their little twine spools!). I’ve also used a wooden phrase from studio calico and some bling from Sarah’s Cards. I added some faux stitching and Christmas red stickles to finish the card.

Edited to add: This is my 300th post on this blog. Yay me! :)

I have a new card to share with you today using the new freebie image up on the Birdie Brown blog. As soon as I saw it I knew I’d be making this card because it just matches the scrummy papers from the Simple Stories 24/7 collection.

I coloured the digi stamp with promarkers and glitzed it up with stickles. The papers are all from the 24/7 collection and I trimmed the two bingo cards from one of the paper sheets to add a bit more dimension. I also added a wood veneer phrase from Studio Calico’s Sundrifter collection. The ribbon is from Fantastic Ribbons and the twine is Queen & Co.

Call Me, Maybe

I apologise if this song gets stuck in your head after seeing this card. It’s totally stuck in mine right now if that’s any consolation! Hehe

I LOVE the 24/7 collection by Simple Stories and this card features a lot of elements from it

I don’t normally buy coloured cardstock. I’m a kraft/white cardstock kind of girl but I really loved the colour of this Geyser cardstock by American Crafts and thought it matches the collection quite well. The silver glitter tape is also by American Crafts. All other elements are by Simple stories, except the twine which is Papermania (I think)
