Throwing My Hat in the Ring

Some Odd Girl are having a mini DT and GDT call at the moment. I have always wanted to try out but wasn’t brave enough. They have some scarily amazing colourists on that DT (and I’m really bad at uploading projects to galleries! lol). But, in the spirit of nothing ventured, nothing gained, I’m going to apply to be a guest design.

Deep breath, here we go!

So these are my favourite three SOG projects which I’ve made so far. You’ll have seen them all on my blog in recent months

First up is this card made with Geeky Mae. I think Geeky Mae is my favourite SOG stamp because I’m a total geekette myself!

  Pretty is a Picture

Secondly, this card made with Guitar Kody. This is one of my favourite man cards I’ve ever made. Woodgrain and chevrons. Need I say more? Plus, I totally love how his hair turned out!! lol

Play that Funky Music

and lastly is this card which I love for so many reasons, features Bicycle Kaylee.

Lisa Charisma Monochrome Card

Now I’m supposed to say why I would make a good guest designer at Some Odd Girl. Well I’m excellent with deadlines, have plenty of crafty time and a total love of SOG stamps! I also think it’d really push me to up my colouring game and try new things because it’s so easy to just stay in your comfort zone and no challenge yourself.

Summer Summer Summertime…

Have I got that song stuck in your head now?

It’s new challenge day at PCJ and the challenge theme is all things summer. Whatever summer means to you! Summery images, papers, sentiments – whatever! No snowmen this challenge though, that’s stretching it a bit too far!

Here’s my card

A Good book

I thought I’d have a go in the Papertake Weekly sketch challenge this week. I bought a few of the newly released Some Odd Girl digis the other day and the sketch was a perfect reason to use one of them.

Lisa PTW Sketch Entry Card

Still loving these Sweet Day papers from Echo Park. I think I prefer most of the B sides in this stack to the A sides.

  • Digi Stamp: Some Odd Girl – Reading Mae
  • Medium – Promarkers
  • CS: Bazzill Kraft
  • DP: Echo Park Sweet Day
