A Pot of Love

It’s February which means I can buy new things! Hurrah! lol. I’ve not reverted totally to type and have used the stamp I bought today from Tiddly Inks, Wryn – Grow Love to make this card

I’m not sure what is is about 2012 but I have used a whole lot of pink on my projects this year. Perhaps it’s down to the MME Love Me collection kit which I couldn’t put down. The paper on this card are from First Edition (Trimcraft) from their Sweet Owl paper stack and I inked up the edges because I didn’t want to matt my layers and make the card too heavy.

I’ve coloured Wryn with Promarkers and added touches of glossy accents and sakura star dust pen here and there. I think part of the Wryn sentiments bundle from Tiddlyinks. I didn’t colour it because I wanted Wryn to be the true focal point of the card. I’ve had the heart gems for ages and ages so I thought I’d use them on the panel behind the sentiment.

I’ve made this card following the sketch on the Papertake Weekly challenge blog this week.

A Little More Love

I dunno… I must be feeling all loved up since we came back from Las Vegas! I’ve made another lovey dovey project. This time, a card. I was faithfully entering the Sweet Stampin challenges each week up until a few weeks ago when my mojo went south and Christmas chaos plus holiday with Hubby ensued. I’m back on track now. I’ve made this card to enter into the Sweet Stampin New Beginnings challenge.   The New Beginning is a Wedding. I’ve made a more modern feeling wedding card using the gorgeous Yours Truly e-paper pack by Echo Park. The heart is from the Yours Truly elements pack (number 1) and I’ve blobbed glossy accents over it. The image, which is called You & Me and is by Tiddlyinks, is coloured with Derwent coloursofts and the sentiment is computer generated. Can you believe that these papers were printed on the draft setting on my printer? They’ve come out brilliantly – a completely happy accident. While I have your attention, I’d like to wish you all a very happy new year!     Lisa xox
